I bought the sub jest burner a few years back and I have a very difficult time getting the regulator to work correctly.

Customer Feedback:   I bought the sub jest burner a few years back and I have a very difficult time getting the regulator to work correctly. It is very difficult to get the propane to the burner. I tighten the hand nut on the hose to the LP tank with a pare of channel lock pliers as tight as I can (never had to do this with any other regulator) and still I have problems.  I back the adjuster on the regulator out, and then in 3 turns, open the tank very slowly, open the valve on the burner, and nothing. After 10 to 15 minutes of trying, suddenly the regulator and line will charge and light no problem.  This is way too difficult a set up. Is there a fix?

Outdoorstirfry:  The regulator comes with the stove as flat which is not good in pushing open the tank valve.   The only work around we found is item 9 on page 2 of attached.  We can send you another regulator which might improve a bit but not totally solve the problem.

Customer Feedback:  Thanks for the response.  What I have is not really working.  I mean it works but it takes me tightening the regulator to the tank as tight as I can with a wrench.  Now I am 6″-2″ and weigh 250 lbs, so it is TIGHT.  Even after tightening that much it works sporadically.  There has to be a better regulator.  I have 3 or 4 other propane fired cookers and none have this issue and they all get tightened by hand.

Outdoorstirfry:  Is your address at  4 xxxxxxxxx Court,  xxxxxxxx, xx xxxxx?  We can send another regulator to you.

Customer Feedback:  No I moved. It is:  12 xxx xxxxxx Road,  xxxxx xxxx, xx. xxxxx,  Thank you!

Customer Feedback:  I used the new one the other night.  The line charged and lit the first time and I only had the regulator on hand tight!  Much better design.  I really appreciate your customer service.  Fantastic.

Outdoostirfry: glad that you fix it.
