Inquiry:

Hi,

I’m very interested in purchasing your 13 inch manual ignition

PF13xx130 wok burner and I had a few questions I hope you could help me out with. 1)Why does the flat bottom cookware adapter not work with the electronic ignition? 2) How should I store the wok burner when not in use? Do I need to cover it with something or can I leave it uncovered? 3) I plan to leave it outside all seasons(I don’t have a garage), will anything happen to it when it snows/rains? 4)Can I leave the propane tank outside during the snow and rain? 5)Where are the wok burners manufactured?

I know these are a lot of questions, but it’s a big purchase and I like to be informed. Thank you again for your help, I hope to buy your product soon.

Outdoorstirfry:

  1. The wok adapter of our existing PF13xx130EI (or PF13xx160EI) is an integral piece of the wind guard. Because of this, we can’t put a flat grate on its top.
  2. We typically flip the wok upside down to cover the burner. Leaving the burner not covered is not advised as dirt can clog any burner hole.
  3. You can leave the burner outside. The burner is of cast iron and the PF13xx130 wind guard is of steel.   They will rust under rain and snow.   Rust affects the look but not its functionality.
  4. You can leave the propane tank outdoor. The same to the burner, a propane tank can rust under rain/snow condition.
  5. We make the wok burner here in USA. We get our material from our vendors locally in California.  However we don’t know where they get their material from.
