Preventing Burner From Tipping

Customer (PF13S160):

I purchased the PF13S160 short leg version. I am building it into an outdoor kitchen. The unit seems prone to tip forward if any downward pressure is put on the end of the arm where the valves are. Do you have any recommendations for how to prevent that? Photos of the installation and the “tipping” are attached so that you can see what I am talking about. Thanks!

Outdoorstirfry:

Your pictures are greatly appreciated.   They help us understand your question really well.   We would comment a couple:

  1. Try to find a piece of brick, rock or even metal with appropriate height to support the burner arm close to the valve assembly area. We would NOT suggest wood.
  2. During cooking, the arm will not tilt since there is a wok on top of the stove.

Hope these help.
