Are the legs detachable?

Inquiry:

Are the legs detachable? I might put it on a table sometimes, use the legs other times. Can this handle a large stock pot? Think clambake/lobster boil.

Outdoorstirfry:

Yes the long legs are detachable. After detach, it is our short leg version PF13S160 product. Our long leg version can handle up to 35lbs of weight. The short leg version can handle much more weight. What is your typical weight of your large stock pot with clambake/lobster?

Inquiry:

I don’t know the typical weight as I am buying this to have the capability to wok and clambake/lobster boil, but I’d put it on the table it I did that or on top of a paver stone on the ground. I was more concerned with the flame being able to reach and efficiently heat a stock pot.

Were you saying with the legs it handles 35 pounds and when you detach the legs it can handle more, or is the PF13S160 differently constructed to handle heavier weight?

Outdoorstirfry:

We have customers doing similar thing.  35lbs weight limit is good for them.   Our PF13S160 is after you detach the long legs.  The flame can reach high enough and will surround your pot.
