Do I have to season the wok by the way? do you have anything to recommend to cover the unit? I plan on leaving it outside but I want to protect it.

The wok surface is coated with a thin layer of lacquer to prevent rust. When we ship the package, we will send instruction on how to season the wok. When left outside, you can simply flip the wok upside down on top of the stove to cover the stove. You can even put the lid on top of the wok as well.
