How long is the natural gas hose that comes with this unit and why is there a $40 price difference between the one with the quick connect fitting? I plan on installing the burner in a permanent location.

Outdoorstirfry:

IS your permanent location outdoor or indoor?   We do not recommend installing our stove in indoor environment.

EF13SQN50WG comes with a pair of quick connectors (3/8″ socket and plug).  This is more costly than EF13SN50WG which comes with a 1/8″ NPT male connector.   EF13SQN50WG has more hardware cost.

Inquiry:

The location is outdoors. I want the natural gas stove with long legs and a fixed installation. Which model do you recommend?

Outdoorstirfry:

It would be EF13LN50WG or EF13LFN50WG at https://outdoorstirfry.com/?page_id=321.   If your local city code requires a stainless flexible hose (not supplied with our stove) between appliance and gas line, you need EF13LFN50WG.    In order to use EF13LFN50WG, you will need to go to your local hardware store to buy a yellow gas flexible hose, like http://www.homedepot.com/b/N-5yc1vZc4n5/Ntt-flexible%20gas%20line%20hose?NCNI-5,  and some coupling since we supply a 3/8″ flare connector.   If there is no local code, you can use an EF13LN50WG stove which has a 5′ rubber hose and a 3/8″ NPT male connector to connect to your natural gas line.
