Outdoor Kitchen material

Inquiry:

Hello,  I have a client that wants to install the PowerFlamer 160 into their outdoor kitchen, and want to put it in their counter and connect it to their natural gas line. So, my two questions are:

  • Is this product able to be mounted into a counter with additional heat shielding? The cabinets will be wood, but we can add sheet metal. I don’t think it looks smart or possible, but I told the clients I would ask. To me, it seems to make sense to make a non-combustible counter and just set it on the countertop.
  • Can this model be attached to a natural gas line, or can it only be used with a tank or bottle? It looks like only a tank or bottle but, once again, I just want to be sure.

Thank you.

Outdoorstirfry:

  1. We would recommend no combustion material 1 foot around the stove.   For outdoor kitchen, our customer usually build with stone or stainless material.
  2. WE do sell PowerFlamer 160 natural gas stoves as well at https://outdoorstirfry.com/products/natural-gas-stoves/1-burner-natural-gas-stoves/.  Our PowerFlamer 160 propane stoves are at https://outdoorstirfry.com/product/powerflamer-propane-160/.
