Tank Bottle difference

Inquiry: 

Tank or Tank and bottle. I assume the bottle is a propane bottle. What is the tank?

Bottle is a 1lb throw away propane bottle which people use mainly for camping and hiking.  Tank is a 20lbs tank regularly used in people’s back yard. 

Inquiry: 

I have a standard Propane take, so I would just choose the ‘Tank’ option? Not sure what the ‘Bottom’ option is.

If you only want to use the 20lbs propane tank, you can just select the tank option.  The Bottle option is for 1lb propane bottle people use for camping/hiking purpose.

Tank adaptor for PowerFlamer propane 160 stove (ACME QCC Type 1 connector) for France

Hi, Is the burner compatible for France propane? Any modification needed for bottle propane in France?

Could you also specify what is meant by natural gas? Some models are natural gas, are you referring to butane? Are these models  compatible for France for bottle butane gas?  Thx

Natural gas comes into household through pipe here in USA.  The natural gas pipe gas pressure is typically around ½ PSI but can deliver a lot of volume.   Propane gas is either tanked or bottled.  Full tank it is liquified and pressure can be >200PSI.    Can you search up what gas are available in France?   Please provide links.

I am planning to use only with tank and propane gas in France is a 5 kilos square bottle. Unsure if you’ll be able to open the link (https://www.butagaz.fr/bouteilles-de-gaz/nos-produits/cube-propane) but is there any issue if I use the adaptor you mentioned with a French propane gas tank?

Sorry, another question, what’s the difference between the powerflamer 160 long lead time and the powerflamer 160 plus?  Just want to check prior to ordering.

Also, would you recommend manual ignition to electronic? Asking as if there’s any issue I’ll be in France and unsure someone would be able to repair the electronic switch?

Thank for your link.  It is helpful.   Usually your tank needs a push-in and clip-on type of connection.  Please look at the direct Clip Connection piece at link.   On the connection there should be an outlet fitting that fits the adaptor of our link. 

The main difference between PowerFlamer propane 160 and Plus is their burner size.   Plus has a bigger burner.    One customer wrote a comparison at link https://outdoorstirfry.com/?s=burner+comparison.  Also we offer various electronic ignition  options.  The plus electronic option is more like indoor gas range type, with only one knob.    Electronic ignition option is not as reliable as the manual option.

What is the difference between 5B burner and yours?

Comparing to this 5B burner on amazon, here are some advantages of our stoves:

1.  We have long leg option;

2.  We have configurable option for 1lb. propane bottle;

3.  We provide spider guard;

4.  We have stabilizers for long legs;

5.  Our hose has stainless braid;

6.  Our paint lasts much longer before rust starts;

7.  this Amazon stove product may only provide two main power setting.  And the seller may not be able to tell you as they are wholesaler, not technical at all;

8.  We are designer and builder of our own stove, we know inside out and have our own patents.   We support our products from a sky high expert point of view.

List can be longer, but let’s stop at above 8 points. 

Inquiry: 

I like the electrical burner, but I’m worried the electrical switch will eventually wear out. However, Im assuming the manual burner will not, since less parts.  If electrical switch does wear out, will it easily convert to manual burner?

Also, does manual burner have the spider guard? 

Also, I heard people complain about the hose not fitting securely on some wok burners.  Does your model have clamps to remedy this issue?

When the electric igniter fails, you can use a long nose BBQ igniter to ignite the main burner directly.   You are operating it as a manual stove without a pilot flame.

The manual stove has its spider guard.

Our PowerFlamer 160/120 stoves do not use clamp.   Our hose connection is patent pending.   The hose connection to the stove should be tight and meet local code.

Inquiry: 

One last question, have you done any new remodeling on the manual stove other than spider guard?  I’m leaning towards purchasing this one because I’m a cheapskate and don’t mind using long nose lighter ?  Thanks!

I would like to know what the difference is between PF13L160 and PF13CL160.

About the difference between PF13L160 and PF13CL160, PF13L160 will only work with a 20lbs propane tank.  PF13CL160 can work with a 20lbs propane tank or a 1lb propane bottle.  Bests.

What is the difference between configurable and non configurable?

What is the difference between configurable and non configurable?  I did not understand the explanation.

The non-configurable version can only work with a regular 20lb propane tank.  The configurable one can work with both 20lbs tank and 1lb propane bottle.
