Hello, can you explain the Tank or Bottle options? Thanks
Outdoorstirfry:
Tank and bottle option gives you a tank to bottle adaptor such that you can use the stove with a 1lb propane bottle in addition to use the it with a 20lbs propane tank.
Inquiry:
what is the last option of tank and bottle or just tank? I do not understand the difference between the two.
Outdoorstirfry:
“Tank and Bottle” option enables the burner to work with a 20lbs tank or a 1lb bottle.

Hi, I am interested in the 160 burner and was curious on the tank and bottle version. Does that include to hose hookups for each or is there some sort of transfer switch between the two? Also, what is considered bottle- like the Coleman bottles? Thanks in advance!
Outdoorstirfry:

The bottle option offers to work with a 1ln propane bottle, like Coleman bottle, typically used for camping/hiking trips.

Hi, Is the burner compatible for France propane? Any modification needed for bottle propane in France?
Outdoorstirfry:
Good question. The stove goes with an ACME type 1 QCC tank adaptor. It needs another piece of adaptor to connect to tank in France. Please read https://outdoorstirfry.com/customer-feedbacks/tank-adaptor-for-stove-for-france-and-germany/.
Inquiry:
Thanks for your response.
Could you also specify what is meant by natural gas? Some models are natural gas, are you referring to butane? Are these models compatible for France for bottle butane gas? Thx
Outdoorstirfry:
Natural gas comes into household through pipe here in USA. The natural gas pipe gas pressure is typically around ½ PSI but can deliver a lot of volume. Propane gas is either tanked or bottled. Full tank it is liquified and pressure can be >200PSI. Can you search up what gas are available in France? Please provide links.

I am planning to use only with tank and propane gas in France is a 5 kilos square bottle. Unsure if you’ll be able to open the link (https://www.butagaz.fr/bouteilles-de-gaz/nos-produits/cube-propane) but is there any issue if I use the adaptor you mentioned with a French propane gas tank?
Sorry, another question, what’s the difference between the powerflamer 160 long lead time and the powerflamer 160 plus? Just want to check prior to ordering.
Also, would you recommend manual ignition to electronic? Asking as if there’s any issue I’ll be in France and unsure someone would be able to repair the electronic switch?
Outdoorstirfry:
Thank for your link. It is helpful. Usually your tank needs a push-in and clip-on type of connection. Please look at the direct Clip Connection piece at link. On the connection there should be an outlet fitting that fits the adaptor of our link.
The main difference between PowerFlamer propane 160 and Plus is their burner size. Plus has a bigger burner. One customer wrote a comparison at link https://outdoorstirfry.com/?s=burner+comparison. Also we offer various electronic ignition options. The plus electronic option is more like indoor gas range type, with only one knob. Electronic ignition option is not as reliable as the manual option.
Customer:
Just to clarify, I reached out to find out the adaptor and they’re recommending this for the propane bottle ( https://www.laboutiquedugaz.fr/produit/adaptateur-bouteille-clipsable/) I will use (5 kg cube propane butagaz bottle). I also need the direct clip as well or only1 adaptor?
Outdoorstirfry:
You will need two pieces as below before connecting to a PowerFlamer stove.

Hi, Stirfyer is now operational and first very promising results. Excellent.
Just wanted to give you another feedback in case you get more customers from Norway. I was struggling to connect the fryer to the propane bottles here. A combination of your link below and some further googling solved the issue.
I solved by
1) getting a bottle with industrial connector
2) connected to this adapter https://www.maxfritid.no/produkter/gass–klima/gassinstallasjon/andregassdeler/overgang-propangasol-eurpol/?code=28203 which connects to the ‘German’ system.
3) connected that to the adapter from your link below (US-German)
4) and that to the fryer.
Took me some time to work this out, it may be of help to your other customers.
Best.
Outdoorstirfry:
Thank for your information on how to solve the connection. Instead of having two adaptors, you might want to use one like Propane LP Tank Adapter POL x ACME QCC 1 Tank Adapter. Best.

What’s the difference between Tank vs “Tank and Bottle”? Is there an extra part that fits the bottle, like an adaptor?
Outdoorstirfry:
For difference between tank vs “Tank and Bottle”, please read https://outdoorstirfry.com/?s=tank+and+bottle+difference. There is a bottle adaptor between the normal tank connector and bottle for the “Tank and Bottle” option.

What is the difference between 5B burner and your PowerFlamer 160 stoves? Check this out on Amazon – High Pressure Burner Propane Iron Wok Burner 5B Fast Stove 100,000 BTU https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JNK5CHG/ref=cm_sw_r_em_api_glt_i_AQJM50KWN4CHH6M21F0W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Outdoorstirfry:
Comparing to this 5B burner on amazon, here are some advantages of our stoves:
1. We have long leg option;
2. We have configurable option for 1lb. propane bottle;
3. We provide spider guard;
4. We have stabilizers for long legs;
5. Our hose has stainless braid;
6. Our paint lasts much longer before rust starts;
7. this Amazon stove product may only provide two main power setting. And the seller may not be able to tell you as they are wholesaler, not technical at all;
8. We are designer and builder of our own stove, we know inside out and have our own patents. We support our products from a sky high expert point of view.
List can be longer, but let’s stop at above 8 points.

I like the electrical burner, but I’m worried the electrical switch will eventually wear out. However, Im assuming the manual burner will not, since less parts. If electrical switch does wear out, will it easily convert to manual burner?
Also, does manual burner have the spider guard?
Also, I heard people complain about the hose not fitting securely on some wok burners. Does your model have clamps to remedy this issue?
Thanks for listening to me.
Outdoorstirfry:
When the electric igniter fails, you can use a long nose BBQ igniter to ignite the main burner directly. You are operating it as a manual stove without a pilot flame.
The manual stove has its spider guard.
Our PowerFlamer 160/120 stoves do not use clamp. Our hose connection is patent pending. The hose connection to the stove should be tight and meet local code.
Inquiry:
One last question, have you done any new remodeling on the manual stove other than spider guard? I’m leaning towards purchasing this one because I’m a cheapskate and don’t mind using long nose lighter ? Thanks!

Here is the list of improvement on our manual PowerFlamer stove:

Hi, Do I have to buy a tank or bottle with the 160 long lead time model? I’d like to not have to do this. Also, what exactly do the leg stabilizers do? How do they work? And does the cover custom fit the burner or is simply a square tarp? Lastly, is there a pilot flame without the electric ignition start or the pilot flame only exists if you have the electric ignition option?
