Customer (PF13CS160EI):
The burner has been fantastic but today the burner lost high pressure. The ignitor will still run high but the main burner is not able to to run high. Tried a new tank of gas and got the same results.
Outdoorstirfry:
You have a configurable stove. Are you using 1lb propane bottle or 20lb propane tank? Do you turn off the igniter when the main burner is running? When you say main burner is not able to run high, do you mean its flame can’t go big after turning off the igniter? We need to check if the valve to the main burner is partially blocked or not. Can you look inside the main burner pipe to see if there is any spider web built up?
Customer:
Ok, I’ll check it out. I will check the pipe and try to blow it out with compressed air.
20lb propane
ignitor is off
main burner will not go to the blue hot flame. Just burns yellow no matter how high the valve is turned
Thanks for getting back
Outdoorstirfry:
Thanks for more info. This is symptom of a blockage within the main burner pipe. Once you see the web, you can use a stiff wire to break it and clean it out. I’m not sure if compressed air can blow it off.
Customer:
The wire did it. Easy fix!
Back in business and just finished batch of spicy peanut chicken. Amazing what flavor you get with the full heat
Outdoorstirfry:
Great!
