Customer (PF13L160x2):
Hello, I setup a pop-up restaurant once a week. I am in need of two wok burners. You have multiple options and I was looking for direction on the correct ones. Thank you.
Outdoorstirfry:
You sound like doing something we call Saturday farmer’s market or flea market here in northern California. There are a few questions for you:
- Are you using propane tank (like those 20lbs ones)?
- Are you doing stir frying on both stoves?
- Do you prefer stoves on the ground or on one of your table?
Customer:
Oh yes. Propane tanks.
One more thing. I should have collected my thoughts better in one email. I apologize. I am using 20” carbon steel woks.
Outdoorstirfry:
PF13L160 is powerful enough for 20″ carbon steel wok.
2 PF13L160 stoves would be our recommendation. We had customer doing similar application as yours. If you order, please put in a note about your usage such that we can make the products compliance to most city code. Some city complains about our product for crowded area. We can make PF13L160 compliance if we know your intention.
Customer:
How high off the ground does the wok stand? I like it at around 4 feet.
Outdoorstirfry:
PF13L160 goes about 30″ in height. However we could make special long legs to give you about 42″ in height.
Customer:
I just ordered two burners. I think they were the right ones. PF13L160. These are for a farmers market setting.
OK, so I got the wok stoves today. Love them. Set one up. However, I cannot get the legs to tighten and stabilize? When I screw the leg in, the screw is not holding it in place. As soon as I pick the wok up to move it or re-position it, the legs fall out completely. It’s a bit wobbly. Am I missing something?
Outdoorstirfry:
Since the short stands on the stove base are round cylinder type, it is hard to tighten the long legs. What we recommend is to use a flat screw driver to tighten the long legs. A big enough flat screw driver seems to do the trick.
Out next generation product will solve this issue.
Customer:
How hot do the legs get? Can I use tape or zip ties to hole it steady without them melting?
Outdoorstirfry:
The legs should remain very cool. If you find a solution, please send a picture to show to us.
