I’m debating between a propane burner (PF13L160) and a gas burner (PF13LQN120).

Hi I’m debating between a propane burner (PF13L160) and a gas burner (PF13LQN120). My major concern is the gas line not being able to provide enough pressure to reach high heat cooking. I have one of those external gas connections for BBQs, how do I know if this is enough to reach 120kBTU/Hr that the burner is capable of? Thank you.

A good question.   For PF13LQN120, we tested to achieve such rating by a residential line, which should be similar to yours.    There are two ways to achieve high heat, one is by pressure and another by volume.  With residential line, it is the later that helps achieving.

Let us know any further question.
