I bought the PF13L160EI product 5 years ago. The burner stopped working today.

(Customer PF13L!60EI):

I bought the PF13L160EI product 5 years ago.  The burner stopped working today.  I don’t hear any gas coming out of the burner (no hissing sound like before).  I confirmed that the gas tank is full.  Is there a way for me to figure out what’s happening, or ship repair materials?   Thanks!

Outdoorstirfry:

Did you just change the tank?  Can you send pictures of the stove and especially the connector on the regulator?  I need to see the condition of the rubber piece on the connector.  Wait to hear from you.

Customer:

I didn’t change the tank recently. It has been working since I’ve last changed the tank.   Attached are the pictures.

Outdoorstirfry:

Please follow step 9 of attached to tighten the regulator connector to the tank.   There is a video on page https://outdoorstirfry.com/?page_id=768  as well.  The important part is to hear the hissing sound the first time you turn on the tank valve.   If you still can’t get the gas out of the tank, we can send you another rubber washer for the regulator.  Bests.

Customer:

That video worked!  I’ve always tightened it the same way before.  Not sure why I have to tighten it more now.  But it works!  Thanks!   As you can see from the picture, I’ve used that fryer so many times the past 5 years, and it’s still going strong!

Outdoorstirfry:  ,  Glad to hear you fixed it.   Bests.
