Is the burner and regulator assembly detachable from the console?

We are not sure what you mean by console. The regulator (red) is attached to the red hose. The red hose is attached to the burner at the valve end. This burner and regulator assembly is fastened to the stove body base with 3 screws. If you want to detach the regulator burner assembly, simply unscrew the bottom three screws.
