I made Thai garlic beef tonight (fish sauce, garlic, beef, thai chili, cilantro; I put Thai basil in the second batch).  I got wok hei, I think (caught flame a few times).  Truly excellent.  Cooked in probably 40 seconds the wok was so hot.  Thank you very much again.  I think my mother is coming over tomorrow; I think she will want to buy one of these stoves (she is the one who told me about your site, actually).  She is a big fan of Thai food.  🙂  

Our Answer (if any): Wok hei can be an unique taste from your dishes because people seldom can get it from restaurants.
