Inquiry:
How much heat come out of the bottom of the burner? I’m considering putting the short leg version on top of a tiled table outdoor and need to know if the heat will damage the tile.

For normal operation, the bottom should not see any flame. When you see flame coming out of bottom side holes (including burner pipe hole), the stove top side has too much blockage or you will need to limit the power of the stove. The bottom of the stove functions to bring fresh air for burner to burn and vent flame to top correctly. During normal operation, the bottom should remain cool.
