Regulator Hissing Sound

Customer:

I have your PowerFlamer for many years. Very good product. Recently, I had to change the regulator and you sent me a red regulator (I use to have a blue flat regulator). I notice that the new regulator has a hissing sound and I smell propane coming from a very small hole in the front of the regulator when I turn on the propane tank valve. Is that normal and safe? I am not worry about the hissing sound but the propane smell from the regulator has me concerned. I can provide photos if needed. Thanks for your help.

Outdoorstirfry:

Yes please send us photos on the regulator and the stove.   We need to see if we sent a compatible regulator or not.   If not, we can send you another one.

Customer:

Please find enclosed the photos of the regulator and the wok cooker. The first photo show the red regulator and the hissing sound and the propane smell comes from the small hole (the dot between the two screws). Please let me know if this is the right regulator for this unit.

Outdoorstirfry:

This is the right regulator.  When you mentioned that your earlier regulator is a blue flat one, I thought you have a low pressure stove.   Can you supply your shipping address?  We can send you another regulator.

Customer:
