PowerFlamer for a Steel?

Inquiry:

Hello! I have been doing some research on various wok burners and have come to the conclusion that you make the best!

My initial plan was trying to find something that’s a Wok burner first but could be used for other things, specifically a steel for smash burgers and other griddled items.

I know at the end of the day it’s just a burner and has great low end control from what I’ve seen, so it should work fine. I was just wondering if you have done any testing or if you have had any customers that have purchased a steel that fits stably on the burner? Or is that not really realistic?

Thank you so much in advance.

Outdoorstirfry:

Can you send link for the steel referred in your question?

Inquiry:

I was looking at this one, 16×16, 3/8 thick.   https://cookingsteels.com/square-pizza-steel/

Outdoorstirfry:

Thank for the link.  The steel is meant to be used inside an oven or a grill.   The whole steel plate would be hot.   If its dimension is >13”, it can sit on top of a PowerFlamer stove.  However, it is a heat hazard as it can slide off anytime.

Instead of the steel, you can use a flat bottom pan diameter >13” on top of PowerFlamer stove.   Flat bottom pan usually has a long handle that allows you to operate safely.

Wok burner

Inquiry:

I am interested in buying a high quality wok burner. I live the Manniu. X76. how does your burner compare. What model would you have that would be comparable?

Outdoorstirfry:

Just to clarify, are you using a Manniu X76 now?   Where can we take a look at it?

Inquiry:

I do not have a Manniu at all right now. I love the infrared concept of the burner for its efficiency on gas. Her is a like to what it looks like. I like that the can has fins to hold the wok that are flat on top so it can be used to boil large stock pots etc. and not be used exclusively for a wok.   https://www.roaring-dragon.com/en/.

The following is a Manniu X72. You will see that the burner can only is usable with a wok as the flame guard is not flat to allow another type of pot to be put on the burner. https://www.thewonderwok.com/

I plan to make my own Stainless wok cart and flush mount the Can in the table as you have seen in both of the links provided.   What is the ship time on your 16 for LP and what would the total cost be delivered to Liberty, SC 29657.

Outdoorstirfry:

Our PowerFlamer Propane 160 is out of stock but expect to be available in next couple weeks

Roaring Dragon is in Germany.  Wonderwok might be in USA.   Manniu 24KW X76/X72 is about 80kBTU/Hr, half of our PowerFlamer 160.    Our wok adaptor ring fins define a flat surface as well.  If your flat bottom pot diameter is >13″, you can put it on top of PowerFlamer 160 directly.

Let us know any further question.   Thank you.

additional accessories

Customer (PF13L160):

Hi, i have a question you don’t sell additional accessories to this equipment? I am looking for a plain ring to can use the fryer with normal pan not only with a wok?

Outdoorstirfry

The stove flame goes up high enough.  If your flat bottom pan is greater than 13”, you can just put on top of the stove.  My wife uses her flat pan this way.
