Which Model

Customer (PF13L160):

I cook Chinese food 3 times a week, have been to China a few times, and own more than twenty Chinese cookbooks. I realized that there is one absolutely crucial element to achieve wok hey, which is at the heart of Chinese cooking, and that is a powerful burner. No western burner is good enough for wok hey Chinese style. You need more than 50,000 BTUs for a number of preparations – good luck finding that even in a professional Western style restaurant stove. I searched wide and large for a suitable burner and I finally found it: the outdoorstirfry burner PF13L160 is the best in its class. It gives you more than enough power for ANY Chinese food preparation. A fantastic product. Get it, and then go to this Utube channel to learn how to use it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg0m_Ah8P_MQbnn77-vYnYw/videos. It truly is a different technique the one you need to master or you will eat ashes. A final word about Mr Dong. He is a terrific guy, always willing to help, and very prompt on the uptake when there is a problem to solve. Do yourself a favor and get the PF13L160. A new world of taste awaits you.

The only thing to work on in the future is to make it a little more rust proof…

Outdoorstirfry:

Thank you for your feedback.  Our next gen burners will be much more rust proof.

I have a natural gas line out of my house and was looking at the Natural Gas burners.

Inquiry:

I have a natural gas line out of my house and was looking at the Natural Gas burners.  Do the power flamers require additional gas lines or extra pressure to achieve their BTU?  Or, would a normal installation achieve wok hei?

Outdoorstirfry:

Our PowerFlamer natural gas burners achieve their rated BTU output with residential natural gas line.  The higher BTU rating, the easier to achieve Wok Hei.   Bests.

Do you have additional pictures for the 130? And does this ship to Canada?

Do you have additional pictures for the 130? And does this ship to Canada?

Outdoorstirfry:

What picture of PF13x130 do you want to see?  The burner of a PF13x130 is about 4″ in diameter.   We do ship to Canada.

Inquiry

Is there any duties or anything with it coming to Canada?    Also how long is shipping?  And 130 picture on website looks weird, any real pic of it?

Outdoorstirfry:

Canadian custom does charge duty.  With that you will need to pay broker fee if you are acting as a customer broker yourself.  Shipping takes 6~10 business days and depends on how soon you clear out the customer with Canadian custom.

The PF13x130 pictures on our web site are from real product.   It only shows the black wind guard where you place your wok on top.   In the center of the wind guard is the 4” burner.    We have patents on the stove and burner.    Bests.

Is the look of the pf130 the same as the 160?

Outdoorstirfry

No.  PF13x130 and PF13x160 are totally different stoves.   They have completely different looks.

thanks-giving

Customer (PF13SFN160):

Want to say thanks (as in Thanksgiving) for the 160, short-legged.

The weather here in upstate New York has become very wintery, some snow and cold too, but did cabbage with garlic and peppers.  It works great, I would have chosen the “Mongolian” style burner too (I’ve seen it referred to as that somewhere).  It is jet engine force.  Most appreciate the way the  160 totally seems like was assembled in garage at home from available hardware store pieces, except of course for the burner parts and ring.  I show it off and wok away.

. . . drop on by and we will stir fry!

Happy Thanksgiving!   Thanks for the good words.   PF13SFN160 series is still in its early stage.   We don’t know where to find manufacturer for it yet.  So we home make it as you pointed out.   For natural gas, it seems jet type burner is the only choice to reach such power level.

I came across “Mongolian” burner before.  Please the link of it if you have it for me to confirm.  I believe it is using propane gas.   It is different from what you get from us.   It is close in construction to our propane PowerFlamer series like PF13L160 but I’m not sure it can reach as high power as our burners.

Thanks for the invitation.  Let us know any further feedback.

Bests of the season.

Thanks for the pictures.  The pot stickers are beautifully done.   I know your cookware is of cast iron type.
