Customer (PF13L160):
Hi, I bought one of your wok cookers several years ago. Time for a new one (I broke parts, it got rusted). Ordered it yesterday. I have been very happy with the first purchase and look forward to the second one. I have included my go-to recipe (I rarely cook anything else on it because this is so good!). ALSO: My 2 quart recipe for sauce. Thx.

Chicken and Broccoli wok recipe
Ingredients
Place the following in 3 different sections of a bowl reserved for Spices
Sauce (enough for a couple of meals…or just use some of my bulk recipe)
Instructions:
———-Stir Fry Sauce——-
Stir Fry Sauce (bulk)
Slightly less than two quarts of stir fry sauce
Fills a 64 oz Cranberry juice bottle with room to shake up the cornstarch
Outdoorstirfry:
Thanks for the repeat business. Rust is always an issue for us. If it is just rust, applying a coat of spray point should help. Next time if the stove just needs some small parts, you can let us know. We might be able to able to come up a replacement.
Customer:
Won’t spray paint degrade in the heat? If not, offer an upgrade to anti-rust the unit with paint. Or offer a cover.
Outdoorstirfry:
For PF13L160, flame from burner do not touch most of the stove area except the wok holder tips. The paint should be able to last. Our PF13L160 is painted with silver paint. However it is not robust in outdoor environment. For cover, we just use the wok. Flip it upside down to cover the stove.
Customer:
Cool. Thx.
Outdoorstirfry:
We made a dish according to your recipe. The whole family likes it a lot.

Customer (PF13L130):
I wanted to buy a PF13L160 and wanted to make sure they were still available and you are still shipping during Covid.
Also I was wondering if you had a recommendation of large wok size. I’ve been cooking on what is probably an 18″ wok and was looking to move up to somewhere between a 20″ to a 24″. Do you have any thoughts as to what large sizes work well with the burner?
I bought a PF13L130 from you a few years back and have loved it. I cook for my family of 7 through the Minnesota winters and though it sometimes struggles, I’m almost always able to cook except on the coldest/windiest days. We’ve just moved to CA and didn’t bring the stove with us and I figured I’d get an upgrade anyway as I’ll be cooking for 9 now. Thanks.
Outdoorstirfry:
Welcome to California. If you are anyway close to south bay area next to San Jose, you probably can have a local pick up to save shipping charge etc. We are shipping PF13L160 no interrupted by COVID-19. PF13L160 is more suitable for large size of family. The stove should be able to accommodate large wok size. 20~24″ wok should not be any problem. We don’t carry those large size. I believe you can always find and order online.
Customer (PF13L160EI):
Hi, I have PF13L160EI. Mine came a few years ago with red hose, which is now weathered in the sun. I would like to buy a replacement hose.
Outdoorstirfry:
Can you send pictures of your both hose ends in order for us to understand how to replace it?
Customer:
Attached are the pictures.
By the way, thank you for making the wok burners. You were the first one to make them and they are still the best out there! It’s been 15 years or so I have been using your burners. I started with a 180,000 or so BTU 9″ burner before switching to the 160,000 BTU 13″ burner and I really love the 13″ model. It’s really a perfect design! The wind shield works great! You can fo from full power to low power using the controll knob with very few turns. Plus, it’s been sitting in Arizona intense summer heat for about 6 years and the unit still looks/works great. Regards,
Outdoorstirfry:
Thank you for the pictures. Now we know what to send – a hose and a couple new clamps.
Thank you for your kind words. We love to hear feedback like yours.

An EasyFlamer EF13SQN50WG stove has been deposited with www.xxx???.com. It takes 2~3 business days to reach your address. The tracking number is ????.
Attached in this email is the user installation guide. When we test the stove before shipping, it takes 7~8 electronic strikes to have one successful. So please have a manual long nose BBQ igniter handy. Procedure on manual ignition can be found on page 3, item 15. Bests.
Customer:
So you’re telling me that the igniter is not working ? and just use a lighter ? Is there any advice that would make the igniter efficient so I can use it conveniently?
GOD Bless us all !!!
Outdoorstirfry:
On our product page https://outdoorstirfry.com/?page_id=321, we mention this problem for this series of stoves as below:
EasyFlamer Natural Gas Stove: The stoves are of cast iron. The single burner has two venturi pipes, four flame rings. We have installed spider guard between the ignition head and the venturi pipes in an effort to deter spider web build up. Spider web can slow or even block gas delivery along the pipes to the burner. This usually causes yellow flame at the burner or even gas burning close to ignition head area. It eventually shortens the stove life. A picture of spider guard is here. The power of the stoves is between ~5kBTU/Hr and ~23kBTU/Hr. The stoves are adapted for natural gas use based upon requests from our customers for their outdoor high power cooking. They can not be used with propane gas. Behind the front power adjusting knob and under the burner pipe and front cover there is an electronic ignition valve assembly. The electronic ignition function is not reliable and its ability to ignite can vary from unit to unit and under different weather conditions. We advise to always have a manual BBQ long nose igniter handy when the electronic ignition function is not working. Please be aware that this product shipped from us may not have a functioning electronic ignition. In this case the stove is functioning as a manual one. /p>
————-
The problem is actually associated with every electronic ignition gas stove. We are accustomed to one successful strike if we get a flame within 3 tries. Then we are fed up after #4 try. In fact in my home I even have a manual long nose BBQ igniter beside my indoor gas range because one of the electronic “smart” ignition keeps trying but fails to ignite a flame. On our web page we no longer sell this series of stove as electronic ignition type as we can’t guarantee them to work within 3~4 strikes. Hope this makes sense.
Customer:
I got you point with regards to your product but don’t generalized stoves as having ignition problems, mine doesn’t have. I bought this because, my burner on the side of my outdoor griller doesn’t fit my wok and frying pans and since I have a natural gas line in my backyard patio this item is the only one that fits. I can live with the long nose lighter but I hope this product will last long.
Outdoorstirfry:
The ignition problem is what we notice. The rest of the stove should last quite long time. We are always here to help in case you have any question or problem.
Customer (EF13LQN50WG):
Thank you for your order and your message through our contact form. The stove will ship out tomorrow. We no longer offer black painted steel wind guard. All our current products go with the galvanized steel wind guard as it is more weather proven. Let us know if you have further question.
Customer:
Thank you for quick responding. I am fine with galvanized steel wind guard. The black one just looks better 😁. One question: even though the one I bought is a quick disconnected one, can I keep it connected all the time after I use it each time? Thanks!!
Outdoorstirfry:
Yes you can keep the connection after use. In our installation guide we teach to install a manual shut off valve before the quick connection socket on the natural pipe line. You will need to turn off this manual shut-off valve after use to prevent any gas coming through to the stove. We will send the installation guide along with ship-out email.
Customer:
Do I need to buy a manual shut off valve from local hardware store or it comes with the package which you mail to me?
Outdoorstirfry:
You will need to buy the turn off valve yourself according to your pipe size. They are readily available from your local hardware store.
Customer (PF13LQN120):
Due to the Coronavirus, I am cooking at home with a restaurant like high power stove.
Outdoorstirfry:
I think you are making a good choice to stay more at home. Bests.
Customer:
I noticed my burner is not turning up so high. I have it on full blast and I can only get a medium flame. I did leave it out overnight and there might be some rust accumulating, maybe the holes are a little plugged. It used to run very hot at max output. What do you think?
Outdoorstirfry:
One highly possible reason is that you leave a burner valve in open position when you turn on the tank valve. The regulator detects a leak and only gives partial pressure out. To reset the regulator, here is the procedure:
We have mentioned this on item #8 on page 3 of the installation guide.
Let me know any further question.
Customer:
Wow, it works! Thanks
Customer (PF13L160):
Hi, i have a question you don’t sell additional accessories to this equipment? I am looking for a plain ring to can use the fryer with normal pan not only with a wok?
Outdoorstirfry:
The stove flame goes up high enough. If your flat bottom pan is greater than 13”, you can just put on top of the stove. My wife uses her flat pan this way.
Let us know any further question.
Customer (PF13L160):
Propane regulator is defective and won’t allow propane from Propane tank and through the hose
Outdoorstirfry:
The regulator has a leak protection feature. When activated, it reduces gas flow to the burner. Please re-read item 8 2~4 paragraphs of attached user guide. Before turning on the propane tank top valve, please shut off all stove valves (left and right). Turning on the tank valve there should be one immediate clicking sound from the regulator. After up to 1 minute, the regulator will give another clicking sound indicating completing its leak detection process. Only after this 2nd click, the burner can be turned on. Otherwise the regulator refuses to give full pressure.
Let us know if you still have problem getting full pressure. We did test every stove before shipping. It was functioning correctly before we ship to you.
Customer:
I followed your instructions and printed out the PDF you sent along with it I wished I would’ve had that information in the box when I receive the item . It now works great thank you,
Outdoorstirfry:
We stop sending hard copy instruction more than 10 years ago. When we ship, we send out our customer the shipping information along with the installation guide in PDF.
Glad that you are able to overcome the problem.
